A background in stage, film and teaching served Steve well
when
he opened the first incarnation of Act One Video in New York City in
1983. While appearing on TV in soap operas such as, "One Life To
Live" and "Days of Our Lives," he began making videos on the
weekends. He completed a Masters Degree at City College, by producing a video to help special education freshmen adjust to high school life. The company flourished and was maturing when he brought Act One to Honolulu in 1988, where he taught video to students at Kalaheo High School and produced, The "First Lady of Waikiki," which won First Place at the prestigious International Media Festival. His production of Glenn Grant's "Lost Little Girl of Manoa Valley" was premiered at the Hawaii International Film Festival. Steve has also shot and directed TV commercials for Cycle Sports, Kellogg's Hawaii and Charter Mortgage. He co-produced and was an on-air host for "The Hawaii Wedding Show'" on KFVE TV. With Robin Lung he co-founded "VideoBiographics" which tells people's life stories on DVD. Each year they produce a biography that is shown at the Historic Hawaii Foundation's annual banquet. Recently he produced, "Something in The Water," a rap music video, which may soon be seen on MTV. |

Chris Kendziorski
Video Designer |
Chris is the most can-do Videographer/Editor/Designer you will ever find. If we need it, Chris finds a way to produce it! As a child growing up in Michigan she began several small businesses, painting murals on barns and clothing, and producing specialized greeting cards to raise money for her first car! She began her college career at the University of Michigan Flint while student-teaching Art classes at the Flint institute of Art. She received her Bachelors degree in Computer Animation from Arizona State University. After college Chris worked as a Costume Designer for community productions before moving to Hawaii. Her creative eye and imaginative, upbeat spirit are evident in every project she works on. We are very fortunate to have her on our team! |
